On Writing Poetry
painting with letters, syllables, words ~
unveiling Truth
through image and metaphor
arranged just *so*.
to rhyme or not to rhyme ~
this is the question
every writer must answer
before pinning ideas, wriggling,
to the page ~
before spinning thoughts
inward then outward,
waiting for words to illumine
mind and soul.
